We won a$800,000.00 settlement from the Department of Transportation for its role in the death of 35 year old woman. The woman was killed by another driver who swerved to avoid a ladder that had been improperly secured by a Department of Transportation driver. We also gained a $500,000.00 settlement from the City of Hialeah, Dade County and their public works sub-contractors. The sub-contractors pierced a water pipe and flooded the roads. As a result, a pedestrian was hit by an out of control automobile, causing cognitive injuries.
